“As usual the more interesting sneaker releases of the week are all happening on the weekend, making sure that you guys have time to stand in line. This week a lot of great shoes from a diverse set of brands are releasing and in order for you to know what to concentrate on, we put them all together in this post.
When we were approached by Puppies Make Me Happy to create a design capsule for their Summer Collection, we couldn’t stop wagging our tails.
The first design of Puppies Make Me Happy’s Summer line, “Pound Puppies” was released just in time to snag one up for Coachella, and fans of the brand (& puppies) bolted to their website to purchase the tee for their desert debauchery.
The design, inspired by Death Row Records, has since sold out, but Puppies Make Me Happy has assured fans that the design will be making its way back to their shop soon.
If you love this Pound Puppies design as much as we loved creating it, head over to Puppies Make Me Happy for this design and many others, available in Women’s, Men’s, & Kid’s silhouettes!
“Talented calligrapherSebastian Lester, whom we last featured here, has recently started to recreate well-known logos of international brands with his calligraphy pens.
Just as he had done with his other pieces, he recorded the process of making these calligraphic logos and uploaded them onto Instagram—there is a real pleasure in watching his pens move across the paper.
So far, Lester has recreated the logos of famous brands like Nike, Google, FedEx and Converse—he has also recreated the logos of television shows and movies, including American Horror Story and Star Wars.
It’s been 5 months since I made the leap to full-time freelance and started my journey of 100% self-employment!
Since September 2014, my life and work have been in a state of constant change. But, in an effort to find an overall life balance, I am continuously learning to take one day at a time and learning more and more to go with the with flow, not letting the little things get to me.
As my business grows & I take on more clients, I am finding a need to keep everyone updated in a centralized location.
So, here it is… the glorious blog. Haha!
I’ll be making quite a few entries at first, in order to catch up on announcements and other details.
